9/19/2023 0 Comments Nomad hotel las vegasThe creation of Jacques Garcia, a French architect and designer, the NoMad Las Vegas rooms feature much more elegant furniture than what you'd expect from Vegas, with mahogany work desks, plush velvet chairs, steamer-style cabinets, thick patterned screens, and large oriental rugs. What Are the Design and Scene Like at the NoMad Hotel Las Vegas? This hotel within a hotel attracts couples and business travelers looking for upscale digs in what can be an unabashedly gaudy city. A Moroccan-style outdoor pool and small casino are some of the property’s features, plus guests here get access to all facilities at the huge Park MGM, such as a full spa and numerous dining options. The restaurant is even chicer still, designed to resemble a library, with lots of dark wood paired with rich carpeting and a mix of pincushion booths and red-velvet seats. The lobby has attractive marble floors, heavy drapery, and dark carpets, all of which wouldn't look out of place in the earlier part of the 20th century. The design throughout is chic and artsy, with bespoke furnishings, dark color palettes, and moody lighting that gives the hotel a sultry, sophisticated atmosphere. Situated on the top four floors (29 through 32) of the former Monte Carlo resort building that it shares with its sister property, the Park MGM Las Vegas, the NoMad Las Vegas offers an upscale, more intimate alternative to some of the bigger hotels in the area. Also worth considering is The Cromwell Hotel Las Vegas, which offers similarly decorated rooms and more facilities at a lower price point. Overall, it’s a great hotel within a hotel stay, though some past guests have complained of noise issues and the limited restaurant hours may be a downside for some. There’s also a restaurant, though it’s only open for dinner, and room service is available around the clock. These include the NoMad Las Vegas pool, with Moroccan-inspired tiles, low seating, and weekend parties, plus the NoMad Bar, which offers snazzy drinks, live entertainment, and Sunday brunch. Guests of the NoMad can access the facilities at the Park MGM, though the hotel has a few features uniquely its own. Rooms and suites feature plush decor (think lots of velvet and dark wood), walk-in showers, and modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and Smart TVs. The 293-room NoMad Las Vegas is an upscale property along the Strip, situated on the upper floors of the old Monte Carlo Resort (the lower floors now belong to sister property, the Park MGM).
